Logic Pro 7 - Logic is complicated sequencer sound editor. Most of the scores I write I use this Logic. It's power in both composition and editing make this program an invaluable part of my arsenal.
ProTools 7- An industry standard when it comes to sound editing and recording. It's power and usage can not be easily measured.
Digital Performer 4 - Probably the most widley used sequencer in the world today. Although I mostly use Logic, when I need exact film to music matching I use DP4.
Finale 2006 - When it comes to notation Finale is the program of choice. I’ve been using this program of almost 10 years. It's complicate but once you learn it it’s indispensable.
Reason 3.0- Reason is an interesting program. Not the most accurate sequencer but its virtual drum machines are some of the best on the market.
Avid Pro- Like Pro Tools for sound, Avid is the main editing software of the film and TV industry. It’s more complicated to use than Final Cut Pro but is much more stable.
Final Cut Pro- For editors on a budget FCP is the best editor around. Apple put a lot of time into making this a powerful yet easy to use editing system.
Adobe Premiere- Before Final Cut Pro, Premiere was top on the list of video editors. It’s integrated with all Adobe products like Photoshop and After Effects.
Adobe After Effects- This program still is the best software available for graphic and film effects. From doing blue screen work, to animated text, After Effects is the program to use.
PhotoShop- PhotoShop is probably the best image processor available today. I’ve been using it for over 10 years and couldn’t live without it.
